For sale is a low mileage Chevy Silverado C3500 dump truck with only 82k original miles. I bought this truck over 4yrs ago to use the drivetrain in an LS swap project. Unfortunately that never happened so I am now selling the truck. The truck spent most of its life on a farm so it was not used often and hence the low mileage. I got the truck from the 2nd owner who purchased the truck and removed the dump bed and front fenders, hood and bumper. I had a gmc front end and driver door so I installed them to make this a driveable truck again recently. The dump lift is still attached and does operate. If you Put a flatbed on it and you are good to have a dump truck again.
Mechanically the 6.0 ls engine runs well and has no leaks. The engine has excellent power and runs very smoothly. The 2wd 4l80e transmission shifts well and the fluid is still red in color. The transmissions shifts well through all the gears and is strong. The tires are from 2023 and have about 60% tread. The breaks need to be bleed and are soft, but the truck does stop and is drive-able in its current condition. Overall, she runs, shifts and stops and could be rebuilt or used as a good parts truck. The check engine light is on for all 4 Oxygen sensors. I am not sure if they are all bad or if they have a problem with the wiring harness. This however does not affect the engine driving.
Cosmetically the truck has seen better days. The cab is solid with no major rot or rust on it, but the rockers do have some dents. The truck was painted twice, originally white then red then back to white so it is not a show truck. The front fenders are both rusted and the grill is cracked. The catalytic converters are original GM and are still present. The crossmember supporting the front gas tank strap is rotted and a ratchet strap has been installed. The frame rails have rust, but there is not rot on the frame. Overall cosmetically the truck is in poor condition, but it does have low mileage on the engine and transmission and rear end.
