We are looking for an experienced, dependable, and hands-on Dispensary Manager to help oversee the day-to-day operations of our recreational cannabis retail store in Durango.
This position is for someone who can take ownership, lead a team, use good judgment, and keep the store running smoothly. We are looking for a manager who has strong common sense, is comfortable making decisions, and can handle the everyday challenges that come with operating a busy retail environment.
The ideal candidate is someone who doesn't need to be told what needs to be done. You should be able to recognize a problem, figure out a solution, and take action.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone with proven management or supervisory experience, preferably in cannabis, retail, hospitality, or another fast-paced customer-service environment.
The right person will:
Take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the store
Lead, coach, and hold employees accountable
Create a positive, professional, and productive work environment
Provide excellent customer service and help resolve customer concerns
Use good judgment and common sense when making decisions
Be able to work independently without constant supervision
Communicate clearly and effectively with employees, customers, and ownership
Handle unexpected situations calmly and professionally
Ensure employees are following company policies and procedures
Help maintain appropriate staffing and daily workflow
Monitor inventory, sales, and store operations
Assist with opening and closing procedures
Ensure the store remains clean, organized, and welcoming
Help ensure compliance with Colorado cannabis regulations
Be willing to step in and help wherever needed
Qualifications
Must be 21 years of age or older
Must possess a current Colorado-issued MED Badge
Previous management or supervisory experience required
Previous cannabis/MMJ industry experience strongly preferred
Retail, sales, or customer-service management experience is a plus
METRC experience preferred
POS experience required
Strong computer and data-entry skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable and punctual
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to prioritize and multitask in a busy environment
Ability to lead by example
Ability to make sound decisions and solve problems independently

Cannabis industry experience is valuable, but strong management skills, good judgment, reliability, and the ability to lead a team are equally important.
Schedule
Part-time and full-time positions available.
Approximately 25–40 hours per week.
Must have availability to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
