The Assembler holds the key responsibility of assembling and installing components into our linen and specialty uniform distribution equipment manufactured here at IPA HQ. The position plays a vital role in the completion process of goods to achieve production objectives. The assembler will provide additional support to meet production deadlines to ensure on time delivery to our clients. Specific to this, the responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Assembling and installing components into our linen and specialty uniform distribution equipment.
Conducting hands-on assembly and sub-assembly.
Taking direction and guidance to perform all tasks successfully and safety.
Ensuring assembly quality and completion of each build as scheduled.
Maintaining open lines of communication between team members and management.
Understanding continuous improvement.
Understanding the basic of 5 ‘S’ procedures.
Providing additional support to meet production deadlines to ensure on time delivery to our clients.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Minimum 3 months related experience or training in related field.
Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
Exceptional attention to detail and time-management skills.
Ability to execute physical demands of position lifting 40 lbs. on a regular basis.
Ability use hand tools & battery-operated power tools in a safe manner.
Have a thorough understanding of Safety and Safe Practice Behaviors.
WORK SCHEDULE / POSITION STATUS:
Monday to Thursday: 6:00am – 4:30pm + Occasional Fridays
Full Time – Regular
Hourly – Non-Exempt
