Solaro Estate Vineyards & Winery is looking for an outgoing, personable, sales-minded individual to join our tasting room team on weekends.
Wine experience is not required. We are happy to train the right person. We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys people, provides great hospitality, and is comfortable recommending and selling products.
This is a hands-on hospitality and sales position in our estate winery and vineyard in the Texas Hill Country. You'll host wine tastings, introduce guests to Solaro wines, sell wine and Wine Club memberships, and help create the kind of experience that turns first-time visitors into returning customers.
What You'll Do
• Guide guests through wine tastings and share Solaro's wines, vineyard and winemaking approach
• Build relationships with guests and provide attentive, welcoming service
• Promote and sell wines, Wine Club memberships, events and merchandise
• Identify opportunities to increase sales while keeping the experience genuine and relaxed
• Operate the POS system and handle transactions accurately
• Assist with opening/closing, events, stocking and general tasting room organization
What We're Looking For
• Outgoing, personable and comfortable engaging with customers
• Sales-minded and self-motivated—you are comfortable recommending products and asking for the sale
• Reliable, professional and able to work independently and as part of a small team
• Hospitality, retail or sales experience preferred
• Wine knowledge is a plus, but not required—we'll train the right person
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Weekend and holiday availability is required
