ORIGINAL ONTARIO, CANADIAN Colour Postcard marked, 'Public School. Port Hope, Canada' with Red Brick School with slim Tower, & Young Men wearing woollen jackets & peaked hats by Nerlich & Co. (146-148 Front St. W., Toronto), with writing on verso, Dated, 1910, 5.45" x 3 1/2".
With Canada Post 1 cent King Edward VII stamp, Date stamped, 'Port Hope Jul 1 10 (1910)', it's addressed to Mr Geo Smith c/o Mrs J Westhead, Goderich, Ont." on verso.
Marked on verso in black ink, a note.
Attributed to James Westhead (1843 - 1924, Port Hope) who married Sarah Ann Southern (1842-1931).
