The screen: Philips 20PF5120 20" LCD
Native 4:3, which is the whole point. Every VHS tape and every classic console was made for this shape — no stretching, no black bars, fills the screen exactly like it was meant to.
- S-Video input — the one that matters. Real step up over composite on SNES, N64, Genesis, and VHS. Most modern TVs dropped this jack entirely
- Component (Y/Pb/Pr) — 480p from a PS2, GameCube, or Wii
- Composite, L/R audio in, headphone out
- DVI-I with HDCP (works off HDMI with a cheap adapter — note DVI is video only, audio goes in the separate 3.5mm jack beside it)
The VCR: Emerson EWV404 4-head VCR
- 4-head with digital tracking and quick play, 19-micron head, VHS HQ
- Front-panel AV inputs for hooking a camcorder or console straight in
- Auto head cleaner, one-touch recording, 3-language on-screen menu
- Tested and playing tapes
Straight with you on one thing: the TV is a pre-digital set with an analog tuner only, so the coax jack won't pull in over-the-air channels without a converter box. Every other input works perfectly.
None of that matters for what this is: a dedicated tape-and-console setup.
Price is $125 obo, and if you want to offer less, that's fine, but consider adding something in trade to offset the difference, or I'll trade for same-value beef, hair sheep "I need a Ram", or electronics like stereo receivers speakers like Bose 901's, 501's or 301's, computers, stereo gear, speakers, drones, or items useful on my farm or for defense (you know what I mean)!
