This is not a typical bouncer or security position. We need someone who can be a warm, professional host at the front door one moment and a calm, firm authority figure the next — someone streetwise enough to defuse a difficult situation without losing composure, and polished enough to be the first impression of a high-end nightlife venue.
Location: Roppongi, Tokyo
Hours: 7:00 PM until closing
Type: Full-Time or Part-Time
🚪What you'll do:
・Welcome guests and manage the flow of arrivals at the entrance
・Communicate with both Japanese and international guests
・Coordinate with reception, managers, security, and floor staff
・Handle tense or sensitive situations calmly and professionally
・Assist with reservations, guest info, and arranging taxis
・Distribute promotional materials and support event/marketing activities
・Keep the entrance orderly and represent the venue's image at all times
👤Who we need:
・Japanese language ability required; English strongly preferred
・Comfortable working late nights
・Experience in nightlife, hospitality, hotels, or security-adjacent roles preferred
・Calm under pressure, firm but respectful, reliable and punctual
🛃Visa requirement:
Only able to consider applicants who are 【Japanese nationals 】or already hold a 【Permanent Resident, Long-Term Resident, or Spouse visa. 】
We cannot sponsor work visas for this role.
☑️Pay
Full-Time: ¥350,000–¥380,000/month (based on experience) + up to ¥10,000 transportation
Part-Time: ¥2,000/hour +25% night allowance after 10PM (can lead to full-time)
