This machine has been in my possession for over 3 1/2 years. I have trenched over 2000’ of water and electrical lines with it. Not once have I had a problem with except a new battery. I do regular maintenance on it every 6 months along with my other machinery.
It has a 16HP Briggs and Stratton engine which is very powerful for this machine. It does about 60’ per hour at 36”(down fully).
If you’re looking for a dependable trencher this one is it.
Oil is SAE 5w-30. I only use fully synthetic oils. The hydraulic oil is any type of tractor hydraulic oil. I have JD equipment so that’s what I use. It’s a heavy piece of equipment so make sure your trailer can take at least 2000lbs.
I forgot, I replaced the key and key switch.
All of the original manuals come with.
