🔧 Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair heavy-duty trucks and commercial vehicles.
Troubleshoot and repair engines, transmissions, differentials, driveline, steering, and suspension systems.
Repair air and hydraulic brake systems and electrical systems.
Install and replace injectors, pistons, liners, camshafts, cylinder heads, bearings, clutches, fan hubs, differentials, fifth wheels, brakes, batteries, and transmissions.
Use diagnostic computers to identify and troubleshoot vehicle problems.
Complete repair orders accurately and document all work performed.
Conduct road tests when required.
Follow all company and industry safety standards.
Organize and prioritize work for maximum efficiency and productivity.
Support ongoing training and development of other technicians.
✅ Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent; vocational/technical training preferred.
5+ years of experience working with diesel engines and heavy-duty trucks.
Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting major components such as engines, transmissions, and differentials.
OEM training and ASE Certification preferred.
608/609 Certification preferred.
Experience using computerized diagnostic tools.
Must have your own professional toolset.
Ability to obtain a valid CDL.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
⭐ What You’ll Do
Work independently on both major and minor repairs.
Diagnose and repair all-makes commercial trucks and buses.
Perform preventive and maintenance work according to industry standards.
Serve as a senior/lead technician and mentor less-experienced diesel technicians.
Participate in continuous OEM and technical training.
