Keyboard / Synth Player Needed for Established 80s & 90s Rock Band (De (Des Moines, IA)

Established 80s/90s rock cover band in the Des Moines area is looking for a versatile keyboard/synth player to complete our lineup.
We are a tight 5-piece group (dual male/female lead vocals, guitar, bass, and drums) playing local venues, regional festivals, and private events. Our sets are high-energy, focused on major rock hits from the 80s and 90s, featuring massive vocal harmonies and a big, polished live sound.
What we are looking for:
• Keys & Synth: Able to accurately dial in and play classic 80s synth brass, pads, and iconic piano hooks.
• Backing Vocals: Strong background vocal ability to help us nail thick, multi-part harmonies.
• Textures & Samples: Ability to trigger backing textures or electronic percussion hits from your rig to fill out the live sound.
• Rhythm Guitar (Bonus): Being able to strap on a guitar for a few heavy tracks is a huge plus, but not required if you kill it on keys.
Sample Artists / Tracks We Cover:
Journey, Van Halen, The Outfield, Def Leppard, Alanis Morissette, Third Eye Blind, 4 Non Blondes, Loverboy, and similar rock anthems.
Our Approach:
We value everyone's time, so we keep rehearsals highly efficient. We expect everyone to learn their parts independently at home. Rehearsals are strictly used to lock in the groove, arrange transitions, and polish the live show.
Must have gig-ready gear, reliable transportation, a professional attitude, and availability for weekend gigs (including occasional regional travel within a 2-hour radius).
