Photos 1 and 2 are of the actual souvenir checkered flag I'm offering for a reduced price of only $ 25.00.
Photos 3, 4 & 5 show the flag being offered for sale as a official race souvenir in the inaugural California 500 race program from 1970.
What makes this souvenir checkered flag extra special. Is that it came from the personal collection of racing great Phil Hill.
I purchased this flag, along with 4 programs and a poster for the inaugural running of the California 500 from Gooding & Company's 2nd auction of Phil Hill's personal racing / car memorabilia collection, held February 8th - 19th, 2021. Lot # 266.
Again, I'm offering this rare souvenir race flag for only $ 25.00. Good luck finding a flag like this one, in this mint, unused condition, with only fold marks from storage.
Plus once again, this checkered flag once belonged to 1961 Formula One Champion, in a Ferrari no less, Phil Hill...
I can be reached by PHONE at show contact info to arrange purchase.
