Sinai Builders is a small, custom home remodeling and addition company seeking a highly motivated and reliable Residential Construction Laborer/Carpenter to join our team. We specialize in residential remodeling and home additions including both interior and exterior projects. Our goal at Sinai Builders is to make our customer's home a place they love to live.
The ideal candidate should have 1-2 years experience in residential construction, a strong work ethic, and the ability to follow directions while working both independently and as part of a team. This position offers an opportunity to develop your construction skills while gaining hands-on experience across a variety of residential trades.

Familiarity with common hand and power tools

Responsibilities:
Set up, maintain, and clean construction sites, tools, and equipment
Load, unload, and move construction materials
Assist with demolition, excavation, digging, trenching, and site preparation
Assist with concrete mixing, pouring, backfilling, and compaction
Following Instructions from the lead carpenter/supervisor and work according to project plans
Assist with residential framing, including floors, walls and roofs
Assist with drywall installation and finishing
Perform interior and exterior painting and coatings
Assist with a variety of remodeling and carpentry tasks
Assist with installation of Flooring Materials (wood, tile, lvp)
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Must be comfortable working on ladders and/or scaffolding
Take pride in quality workmanship and the finished product
The level of independence expected will depend on experience. Many tasks will be performed under direction of the lead carpenter or company owner.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
