Video Editor — Commercial & Short-Form Content
We are looking for a talented Video Editor with a strong commercial, branded-content, or advertising background to edit high-quality short-form video, social content, and brand storytelling.
This role is ideal for an editor who understands how to take professionally shot footage and turn it into fast-paced, polished, visually compelling content that captures attention immediately.
What You'll Edit
Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts
30–60 second fast-cut social videos
Commercial and branded content
Founder/executive interview content
Behind-the-scenes footage
Event and editorial campaign content
2–5 minute brand/profile films
Interview mashups and campaign trailers
What We're Looking For
You should have a strong sense of pacing, storytelling, music, sound design and visual rhythm.
We are specifically looking for someone who can create:
Fast, sophisticated cuts
Strong hooks within the first few seconds
Dynamic interview edits
Music-driven edits
Strategic B-roll placement
Clean text and motion graphics
Captions optimized for social media
Smooth transitions without relying on gimmicky effects
Polished color and audio
Multiple short-form pieces from a longer interview or shoot
Our aesthetic is premium commercial/editorial — not generic social-media template content.
Qualifications
Professional video-editing experience
Commercial, advertising, branded-content or agency experience strongly preferred
Strong portfolio of Reels, Shorts, commercials or branded content
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve
After Effects or motion graphics experience is a plus
Excellent understanding of vertical 9:16 content
Ability to work from creative direction while also bringing creative ideas to the edit
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to turn projects around efficiently and meet deadlines
Strong understanding of current short-form editing styles without making content feel overly trendy or disposable
Important
We are looking for an editor with creative judgment, not someone who simply assembles footage.
You should understand how to find the strongest moments in an interview, build an opening hook, create momentum, and turn raw footage into content that feels like a professionally produced media campaign.
