An established group looking to add one hunter to our lease outside Del Rio. We're three father/son pairs that have hunted this place together for about 10 years, and we run it the way you'd hope: take care of the ground, respect the game, enjoy the camp. It's 400 low-fenced acres on the Rio Grande with the San Felipe spring-fed creek running through it, about 2.5 hours west of San Antonio. We border federal land that nobody hunts, so deer move onto us all season long.
You'd be joining a tight, established group that runs this place right.
Price: $4,500 for the spot.
Season & access: Full general season, Nov 7, 2026 – Jan 17, 2027, shared across the group. Five blinds and feeders spread across the property, so nobody's stacked on top of anyone.
Game: White-tailed deer, javelina, dove, duck, and turkey. No hogs on this one. Predators and varmints open too — coyote, bobcat, fox, raccoon, and the occasional mountain lion.
Harvest: 1 mature buck (8-point or better), plus 3 does and/or 1 spike. 5 deer total max.
Included:
4-bedroom house: full kitchen, internet, TV, fireplace, 2 refrigerators
5 blinds and feeders (one enclosed blind)
Deer corn for the season
Game cameras for the season
Covered pavilion, outdoor smoker, fire pits, and a game hoist
Utilities included
The ground: 400 low-fenced acres, Rio Grande frontage, live water on the creek, working cattle on the place.
