Established Dayton company has an opening for a Quality/Shipping Technician. We are seeking a driven individual with a good attitude and work ethic that has experience using micrometers and gauges.
The ideal candidate will have the following traits:

• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, twist, for the course of your shift
• Experience reading/recording data using micrometers & gauges
• Must have visual acuity to review & visually inspect parts
• Ability to regularly lift or move up to 10 lbs. and occasionally lift or move up to 50 lbs.
Daily Job Tasks include, but are not limited to:
• Pack/Unpack parts
• Load/Unload customer orders
• Operate Fork truck
• Perform pre, in-process, & post inspections: Visual & Dimensional with Micrometer
• Read and follow part processing router for inspection and packaging requirements
• Read processing router to determine if all steps were properly documented and signed off
• Verify customer part counts
• Communicate any issues upon receiving inspection with quality department
• Work in team setting to complete multiple tasks and goals
