McQueen Expedited is looking for a reliable, professional cargo van driver to join our growing transportation company.
This is not a typical local package-delivery position. We specialize in direct, time-sensitive commercial freight for businesses throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. We are looking for someone dependable who can represent our company professionally and grow with us as we expand.
Position Details:
Starting pay: $23/hour
Regional driving
Primarily NJ, NY, PA, CT, DE, MD, VA & MA
Occasional overnight travel
Commercial cargo van provided
Direct deliveries — generally no residential package routes
Loading/unloading of cargo as required
Maintain communication regarding pickups, deliveries and delays
Obtain delivery confirmation/POD
Keep vehicle clean and perform basic pre/post-trip inspections
We're looking for someone who:
Has a clean driving record
Is dependable and punctual
Drives safely and takes care of equipment
Communicates professionally
Is comfortable with regional/long-distance driving
Can work independently without constant supervision
Is flexible when schedules or customer needs change
Treats customers and freight with care
Wants an opportunity to grow with a small company
Experience in expedited freight, cargo vans, trucking, courier work or commercial delivery is preferred, but character, reliability and driving history are extremely important to us.
Experience in expedited freight, cargo vans, trucking, courier work, commercial delivery, or packing/boxing commercial freight is preferred. Experience safely packing, protecting, securing, and preparing items for transportation is a plus. Character, reliability, and driving history are extremely important to us.
