This 25cc TroyBilt strimmer accepts universal attachments, including seven of the most common: (weed whacker head, provided) or an edger (to present a lawn with a sharp, square edge) or a brush blade that cuts growth up to thicknesses of approximately 3/8in. It also facilitates other attachments, including a pole saw or hedge trimmer or tiller or reciprocating saw.
Universal attachments are easily interchangeable and empowered by the conventional square flexible drive. Versatility is this machine’s most dominant quality. In addition, it is a reliable starter and engine parts remain readily available, as are the various attachment options. Its stop-switch resets automatically to the ‘on’ position.
The machine runs on 40:1 air/fuel mix and has been thoroughly refurbished. It offers strong compression, and provides a 17in cut. Other features include: new purge bulb, fuel filter and fuel hoses, its fuel tank has been flushed clean and its driveshaft cleaned and re-greased.
Tip: Try to wash the air filter periodically in warm soapy water and allow it to dry. Any dust and dirt penetrating a dirty filter gains direct access to the machine’s piston and cylinder.
