Pacesetter Personnel Services is seeking a MIG Welder for the Dallas, TX area.
Pay: $24-$26 depending on experience
Shift: Monday-Friday 5 am- 1:30 pm
Responsibilities:
Perform MIG welding on various metal materials, including sheet metal, adhering to specified blueprints and technical drawings.
Interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings accurately to guide fabrication and assembly processes.
Use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and shop math to ensure precise cuts and welds.
Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently.
Conduct weld quality inspections using gauges and measuring instruments to verify conformance with AWS (American Welding Society) standards.
Fabricate components through cutting, shaping, and assembling metal parts in accordance with project specifications.
Maintain a clean, safe work environment by following safety protocols on construction sites or in fabrication shops.
Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.
Skills:
Proven experience in MIG welding on construction sites or fabrication shops.
Strong knowledge of AWS standards for welding quality assurance.
Proficiency in reading mechanical blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
Familiarity with measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and shop math for precise fabrication.
Experience with sheet metal fabrication, metal materials handling, and mechanical fabrication techniques.
Understanding of safety protocols for welding environments on construction sites or in manufacturing facilities.
Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations involved in fabrication tasks.
