About Us
Wandering in Time Productions is seeking a dependable, experienced mechanic to support property development and daily operations in Independence, Oregon. This is an opportunity to contribute to a growing project alongside a dedicated and collaborative team.
About the Role
Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining small engines, groundskeeping equipment, and farm equipment. This is a varied position: one day may entail troubleshooting a tractor that won’t start; while another servicing landscaping equipment or assisting with property maintenance.
Responsibilities
Diagnose mechanical, fuel-system, and basic electrical issues.
Perform routine maintenance, tune-ups, and repairs on small engines and farm equipment.
Inspect equipment, identify needed repairs, and communicate parts and service needs.
Maintain basic service records and keep tools and work areas organized.
Follow safe operating practices and identify equipment that should be taken out of service.
Assist with groundskeeping, landscaping, and general site work as needed.
What We’re Looking For
Hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing small engines.
Familiarity with tractors, mowers, and other farm or groundskeeping equipment.
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely.
Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
Dependability and the ability to work independently while coordinating with a team.
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Construction or general property-maintenance experience is a plus.
