Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Resurfacing Technician Contractor to perform resurfacing and refinishing work on countertops, bathtubs, sinks, and other surfaces in apartment units. This role requires expertise in surface preparation, application of coatings, and ensuring high-quality, durable finishes. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and experienced in resurfacing techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking off areas to ensure proper adhesion of coatings.
Apply resurfacing materials such as epoxy, acrylic, or other specialty coatings to countertops, bathtubs, sinks, and tiles.
Ensure smooth, even application and high-quality finishes with no drips, bubbles, or inconsistencies.
Repair chips, cracks, and imperfections before resurfacing.
Follow all safety protocols and use protective equipment as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workspaces, ensuring no damage to surrounding areas.
Communicate with property managers and maintenance teams to coordinate job schedules and completion timelines.
Adhere to company quality standards and follow best practices for durability and longevity of resurfaced surfaces.
Provide your own tools, materials, and transportation.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in resurfacing, refinishing, or a related field.
Skills: Proficient in using resurfacing equipment, spray guns, rollers, and other application tools.
Knowledge: Understanding of different resurfacing materials, curing times, and proper ventilation techniques.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed for projects.
Independence: Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage multiple jobs efficiently.
Professionalism: Strong attention to detail, reliability, and good communication skills.
Transportation: Must have a reliable vehicle to travel between job sites.
Tools & Equipment: Must provide own resurfacing tools and materials unless otherwise specified.
