We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented subcontractor for on-site projects at local business facilities. Work is assigned on a project-by-project basis, with the scope and fixed payout clearly agreed upon before you accept the job.
Project Scope & Responsibilities:
✅Pulling, dressing, and securing CAT6 network cabling through walls, conduit, and drop ceilings.
✅Terminating CAT6 (RJ45, patch panels, keystone jacks), punch down, labeling, and continuity testing.
✅Mounting equipment on walls, doors, and ceilings, including network racks, switches, access points, security cameras, video doorbells, and card readers.
✅Cleaning up, dressing, and organizing existing cabling inside IT closets and server rooms.
✅Safely operating basic hand tools, power drills, and ladders, while lifting equipment between 30 and 50 pounds.
Requirements:
✅Proven experience with structured low-voltage cabling and physical hardware installation.
✅High attention to detail with zero tolerance for sloppy wire dressing or messy work areas.
✅Reliable personal transportation, your own basic hand/power tools, and professional on-site communication.
Flexible weekday and weekend opportunities are available.
