Looking for a Low-Cost Pickup Truck for a College Student (Dallas)

I am reaching out with a humble request on behalf of my son, who is moving to South Dakota to continue his university education.
As he will be living in a relatively remote area, having reliable transportation will be very helpful for commuting to nearby towns, purchasing groceries, attending appointments, and taking care of other daily necessities.
We are looking for a Ford F-150 or similar pickup truck, preferably as a donation or at a very nominal cost.
What we are looking for:
Vehicle: Ford F-150 or any similar reliable pickup truck.
Model Year: Any year is welcome. Age and appearance do not matter.
Condition: Good running condition, mechanically reliable, and safe to drive.
Expected Reliability: Ideally, the vehicle should serve him for at least the next 1–2 years with normal maintenance.
Title: Clear or salvage title is acceptable, provided the vehicle can be legally registered, insured, and driven safely.
Price: Free donation would be greatly appreciated, but we are also open to paying a small, affordable amount.
Location: We will pickup in and around Dallas, Texas before moving to SD.
We are not looking for a luxury vehicle or anything fancy. Even an older truck with high mileage, cosmetic damage, faded paint, or minor issues would be perfectly fine, as long as it is safe and dependable.
As a family, we are trying to manage his educational expenses carefully, and purchasing a vehicle at regular market prices is currently difficult for us.
