Fast paced bread manufacturing facility is looking for a Controller
This individual will be responsible to maintain Company's general ledger and overall accounting function.
Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
Prepare accurate and timely income statements, balance sheets
Work in accordance with GAAP and Company accounting policies.
Maintain appropriate accounting policies, procedures, and controls.
Review Inventory and Gross Margin Management
Review journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and reserves.
Analyze monthly results and explain significant variances to budget, forecast, and prior periods.
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
5+ years’ experience in finance and accounting, strong preference for manufacturing environment
Staff Accountant: 5 years (Preferred)
Experience managing an accounting function in a manufacturing or inventory-intensive environment.
Strong understanding of inventory accounting and gross margin.
Experience with monthly financial close and financial reporting.
Experience with warehouse management
Strong Excel and financial modeling skills.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.JOB REQUIREMENTS
BS in Accounting or Finance
Experience with TAMLIN and ACCOUNTMATE moves you to the head of the class.
Ability to speak Spanish is a plus.
Must be a proven hands-on team player driven to meet company goals
Salary is commensurate with experience.
