This one bedroom studio is a converted 2 car garage space. It is furnished with a bed, couch, table and chairs, refrigerator, and some cooking essentials. The kitchen is very basic. Included is a toaster oven and hot plate, but no oven. The bathroom is inside, but the shower is an outside shower that you will walk around the perimeter to reach. This studio is best suited to someone who can handle a more “rustic” lifestyle and who appreciates the outdoors. We back up to the redwoods and live on our family farm.
Our house is attached to the studio by a door that leads into the laundry room, which is available to use. There is a small patio area outside the entrance that is also for tenant use. We share this property with family who live below us, so driving slowly and being conscientious of others is a must. We have one dog and one cat and hope to have someone who loves animals living with us.
Lastly, the room does not have its own heat. We provide a space heater but if you are someone who tends to run on the cold side, this probably wouldn’t be a good fit.
We are looking for someone who is mature, enjoys animals, doesn’t “party,” and who fits well with a simple space. We are a married couple of 25 years and have a grown son (empty nesters for 4 years now). We would enjoy living with someone who likes to chat and hang out periodically, but we deeply appreciate privacy and space too.
