For sale is a custom-built Explorer 1016-inspired watch that I originally planned as a long-term project, but haven’t had the time to complete as intended.
The build started around a refurbished/redone dial sourced from eBay, which cost around $500 USD at the time of purchase. The goal was to eventually pair it with a vintage case, but my plans and priorities have since changed, so I’m letting it go in its current form.
The watch has been worn only a handful of times and has mostly been stored. Overall condition is very good with light signs of handling.

This is a custom-built homage piece inspired by the Rolex Explorer 1016 design. It is not an original Rolex product. The focus of the build was on achieving the classic vintage Explorer aesthetic using accessible modern components.
Originally intended as a longer-term project build, but I’m now moving it on due to lack of time to complete the original vision.
