This is a pool solar copper ionizer.I used it last season and it worked fine . I had a 10,000 gallon pool and I left it in for 2 weeks.The sun activates the copper anode attached and this kills and prevents any algae or bacteria from forming . Once the appropriate copper level is reached you will only need to add a small amount of chlorine thus reducing the need to heavy chlorinate your pool. Unlike using chlorine the copper does not evaporate out of the pool . you only need to check the copper level using a kit or strip to see if it is still in acceptable range . makes closing up easy as you simply make sure the copper level is ok and add some bleach and cover up. If you are interested you can also check out some videos on UTUBE. You need to clean the copper anode between uses with a brush and store away.I have the original box and instructions and am including an extra set of 2 copper anodes valued at $20.00 I will also include some copper testing solutions kit they are used but still work.
