Cross Canada Adventure (Vancouver)

Okay, throwing this out into the universe…
I'm leaving Vancouver around October 1 and driving my **1982 VW Westfalia** across Canada to Windsor, Ontario — and I'm considering bringing one adventurous (non smoking/ vaping okay) human along for the ride.
This will NOT be a race across the country. I'm thinking about **10–14 days**, winding through the Rockies, across the Prairies and along Lake Superior, stopping somewhere beautiful when we find it and camping free/cheap whenever possible.
The bus is vintage, slow and charmingly ridiculous. It has a working stove, sink and fridge, but this is definitely **old-school road trip**, not luxury travel. It has two beds and a gas heater..
I'm looking for someone independent, funny, easygoing, financially responsible and comfortable with close quarters. Ideally you've travelled a bit and understand that occasionally the plan changes because of weather, a beautiful lake, or a 44-year-old Volkswagen deciding we'd all benefit from a little rest. 😂

Im a 50 y/o dude that doesnt wanna share the ride with someone that wants to rant about politics for two weeks (#chill) lol
Ideally you will be around my age able to sit for hours at a time and agile enough to climb up and down from the top bunk.
We'd share some travel/fuel costs, figure out sleeping arrangements beforehand, and definitely meet a couple of times before committing. I'm more interested in finding the **right travel chemistry** than simply filling the passenger seat.
Expect: mountains, huge skies, camp coffee, music, ridiculous conversations, roadside discoveries, Lake Superior, some very long stretches of nothing, and probably at least one moment when we both ask why we're crossing Canada in a vehicle built during the Reagan administration lol

I have done this trip several times as well as driven through all of mexico and most of the US - definitely have my good drivers merrit badge :)
I am considering filming the trip - documenting the travels using dash cams (but not stopping ten times a day to film exterior shots) lol-
Would be great to find a kind, intelligent conversationalist who wouldnt object to being featured. I may also not film anything. #Vibes :D

Tell me who you are, what kind of traveller you are, and why spending two weeks crossing Canada in an old VW sounds like a good idea. Im looking for someone who may have always wanted to do this trip and is enthusiastic and optomistic.
