Position Summary
We are looking for a dependable, motivated individual to join our team as an Assistant Grounds Maintenance worker. In this role, you will support the Facility Manager with the daily care, upkeep, and overall appearance of the property. This is a hands‑on position suited for someone who enjoys working outdoors, learning new skills, and helping maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Mechanical experience is helpful but not required — we’re happy to train the right person.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with daily groundskeeping tasks, including lawn care, landscaping, and general facility upkeep.
Learn to operate and maintain lawn mowers, tractors, utility vehicles, and basic power tools.
Help keep the workshop organized and ensure tools, equipment, and walkways remain clean and safe.
Monitor the property and report or address maintenance or safety concerns as needed.
Support event setup, property improvements, and contribute to maintaining a safe work environment.
Qualifications (Entry Level)
No prior groundskeeping or landscaping experience required — experience is helpful but not necessary.
Willingness to learn how to safely use lawn mowers, tractors, utility vehicles, and basic power tools.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in all types of weather.
Valid driver’s license with a generally clean driving record.
Able to pass a standard background check.
