We are seeking to fill a deckhand position for our packer boat operating in the North Coast of B.C. and the Haida Gwaii.
Starting date December 10, 2026
Responsibilities:
• Under the supervision of Master and/or First Mate, carries out general deck duties to support the packer boat operations including handling deck lines, stacking full/empty crates
• Provides general ship upkeep and maintenance, including cleaning and food preparation
• May perform wheel watches and other related duties as assigned
• Purchasing orders for the serviced fleet
Working Conditions:
• Scheduled shift rotation
• Working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Lifting heavy crates with product (up to 60 lbs.)
• Physically demanding
• Bending, crouching
