“Pillow” is a 16 year old white Molly mule. She stands 15 hands tall.
Pillow has been with us for half of her life and during this time she has been sparingly used for packing. 11 months out of the year she does an excellent job of keeping a watch over our broodmares and foals. She is naturally an excellent watch animal and will keep predators at bay. She gets along well with everyone: goats, cows, mares, foals, donkeys, horse stallion, and my dogs. During hunting season she has been used for packing. We have come to realize that we will not be utilizing Pillow this season due to us putting more time into our young mules, so we would like to offer Pillow up to a new home.
She is easy to get along with, comes to a whistle, loads and hauls well. She is not broke to ride, she just packs.
We pulled her out of the pasture tonight and put the pack saddle on her for these videos, other than this, she hasn’t been out or packed this year.
