Ford 9'' housing from a 1973 Mercury Cougar. Housing flange to flange is 54.75'' making it ideal for 1967, 1968 and 1969 Camaro swap or 1968 - 1972 Nova or early 70s Mustang or vintage car or truck due to narrow width.
Includes 28 spline axles with new bearings kept indoors (not shown).
Two complete 9'' differentials or chunks or pigs or center section/head unit. They go by many names. These are complete cores as they been sitting and have rust. But they are complete. One is 3.70 and don't recall what the other ratio is. (Not shown as they are heavy and I am not moving them for pictures).
Comes with brake backing plates including emergency brake cables.
Factory perches and set of HD CalTrac weld on perches.
Traction bars/Slapper bars
NOS Auburn Pro Series 542043 Positraction stored in climate control indoor. Never been out of the box except for pictures. Made for high torque with high bias cone/clutch for quick lock up.
Starrett dial indicator 0-1'' 25-441. Magnetic base 657 with articulating arms. Starrett 25R contact point set. Everything needed to set backlash. This setup alone is over 300 bucks new.
I want 750.00 or Best Offer for the whole setup. Make an offer on all or part. I might take it as it all has to go. The posi alone is 550.00 bucks new. Look it up. This is a smoking hot deal and beats the 2500-3000 you spend on a complete setup. Here it is for 1/3rd the price. For a little work and paint and save $$ for other things..
