The 4000-Series tailgate kit comes complete with attachment hardware and tailgate cables. This kit does not include your truck’s factory-mounted striker bolts and pivot posts.
We used this a few times on our 2015 F350 Super Duty to tow our fifth wheel. Makes it very easy to disconnect and reconnect without having to drop the tailgate to unlatch. More room to work and less chance hitting the tailgate on the trailer.
Stromberg Carlson tailgates are designed for full size trucks/truck beds only and are not designed to accommodate step-side trucks.
