IMPORTANT — WHAT THIS IS NOT: this is the EV West Beetle kit WITHOUT the battery modules and WITHOUT the front and rear battery enclosures. Those are no longer part of this sale. If you're pricing this against the $22,414.74 complete kit on EV West's website, subtract for the pack and boxes — EV West currently lists the Tesla modules at $1,380 each. Everything other than batteries and enclosures is included and new.
CONDITION: New. Never installed, never mounted, no hours on any of it. REASON FOR SALE: Bought it a few years ago for a project. I no longer own the Beetle and don't have time for the conversion. It's been in dry indoor storage since.

PACK REQUIREMENTS: The motor, controller, and charger are all 120V-class components. You'll want to build a pack around 120V nominal — five Tesla Model S modules in series is the configuration this kit was designed around, and EV West publishes the wiring diagrams for it. You'll also need to source or fabricate enclosures for whatever pack you build.
WHAT ELSE YOU SUPPLY: a donor Beetle with a solid pan and a healthy transaxle, plus basic mechanical and 12V wiring skills. EV West publishes install documentation and there's a large community that has done this exact conversion.
Local pickup in Orange County, or I can crate and ship freight at buyer's expense. Cash or verified funds.
