Good news everyone! I have a Morgan press plastic injection molder up for grabs. This is an air-operated piston type injection molder. It is the G-100T size so it has a larger injection cylinder capable of shooting 6 cubic inches of plastic. I have rebuilt the lower pneumatics so the valves and regulators down there are all in great shape. I also bought a new piston head from Morgan so it has that installed too. It comes with the optional heated lower platen, optional anti-drip nozzle, and a copy of the operating manual. The action is good and I am making good parts with it. I wouldn't be selling it, but we're moving.
The platen usable size is 8"x11". It has dual zone heaters. The heating has been rewired so that the barrel heater and the nozzle heater each have their own power cord. This was to divide the current load between two circuits.
Note that I think it is about three hundred pounds, concentrated at the top and bottom, so moving it takes two people. I'll help you load it into a truck bed or trailer within reason but I can't load it for you by myself. It is currently bolted to the bench it's on and I'd recommend you do the same when you get it home. I have a setup in my shop to lower it on it's back so I can have it that way if you tell me ahead of time.
I also have a supply of HDPE 20 melt in both natural color and black that I can throw in, about a hundred pounds. This is my preferred plastic because it doesn't have toxic fumes (or much smell at all) and can be remelted almost endlessly. It's so much easier to work with than other plastics that it's the only thing I've put through this machine while I've owned it.
