Madden Industrial Craftsmen is looking to fill 5–7 Welder/Fitter positions with a fabrication shop client located in Corvallis, OR. Candidates in these positions will work on a variety of fabrication projects, reading and interpreting blueprints and performing welding on mild steel and stainless steel. We are seeking skilled welders and fitters who can contribute to quality workmanship and meet project requirements.

*PAY: $20-$29/hr DOE
*Temp to Perm Opportunity

Fluxcore Welder/Fitter Responsibilities:
•Most projects utilize flux core dual shield and hardwire MIG.
•Other projects may require stainless MIG and/or stick knowledge.
•Fit and fabricate from prints.
•Operate shop equipment to cut to length and prep projects.
•Work on a large variety of industrial construction and fabrication projects.

Fluxcore Welder/Fitter Qualifications:
•1+ year of welding experience
•Able to read blueprints.
•Fit and Fabrication skills required.
•Excellent wirefeed MIG skills.
•Strong ability to self-manage.
•Must have proper tools to accomplish jobs.
•Forklift and overhead crane operation experience.
•Ability to read a tape measure and other layout tools proficiently.
•Pass a drug screen.

Compensation:
•$20-29/hr
