Colonial Revival mansion, less than half a mile from the Windsor village center, and just several hundred yards to the Windsor schools and Mt. Ascutney Hospital. House is on top of a hill, set back and barely visible from the street, situated on a little over four and a half acres. Built in 1918; fully and recently remodeled. Quite, private and rural setting, yet short walk to Windsor village.
This bedroom is fully furnished.
Kitchen privileges. Includes full kitchen privileges, in a remodeled modern kitchen, with gas range, microwave, two ovens, refrigerator, freezer, lots of cooking utensils, pots and pans and dishes. Wonderful view of Mt. Ascutney from kitchen and breakfast room windows. Kitchen is shared.
Utilities. Rent covers all utilities, including heating oil, wood, propane, electricity, wi-fi, trash, recycling, water, sewer, snow plowing, and lawn and garden care. No cable tv, and I ain't gettin' none neither.
Laundry. Washer and dryer in basement included in rent.
Bathrooms. This rental includes a shared bathroom.
Pets.One cat might be okay, with negotiation. Dogs are not. Pink elephants absolutely prohibited.
People to talk to. There will be other roommates, including various artists, tradesmen, students, story tellers, professionals, and just all around interesting people.
Rent and Availability. The rent is $825/month. All utilities included in rent, as detailed above. I am looking for a 1 year lease, but will consider other lease terms.
