The Coriolis flow meter employs the principle of vibrating tubes for measuring the mass flow rate of the flowing medium. During the passage of the medium through the vibrating tubes, a Coriolis force results in a phase change of tube vibrations, which sensors measure and then translate via electronics into mass flow values. Density and temperature measurement are also possible depending on the design of the flowmeter. This flowmeter is applied to liquids, gases, and slurries in various industries like chemical, fuel, LPG, LNG, pulp, etc.
