One of several intermediate and professional trumpets we are offering for sale. This is a Getzen Capri Bb trumpet in silver plate. This is an excellent, American-made intermediate trumpet that was one step away from Getzen professional Eterna line, and was super popular in the 60's and 70's. This one is in excellent condition: silver plating about 99.5% with little if any wear at all, and just very few, very tiny marks and imperfections if you go looking for them. It is, quite simply, a stunning trumpet. All tuning slides are free, valves are fast and smooth with very good compression. Includes Amado water keys on both the main and third tuning slides for decreased resistance and improved response and control. Also includes the first-valve thumb trigger which is hard to find on any intermediate horn! And best of all, this one is just through the shop in October, 2026 where it was disassembled, chem cleaned, detergent cleaned, lubed, polished, and had all new tuning slide O-rings and piston felts installed. Valve oil and tuning slide grease are for local pickup only and will not be shipped, but it does include a 5C mouthpiece, lyre (not pictured), a new ProTec microfiber cloth, and a new ProTec leather finger guard. All in what is likely the original hard case in very good condition. A great silver trumpet for your advanced student without spending a thousand on a TR200S or two thousand on a used Strad, and just in time for Christmas!

Available to play in person in Dry Ridge, KY alongside dozens of other Strad and Xeno trumpets. Happy to ship in the CONUS for $65. International shipping by arrangement. We do collect sales tax on all transactions in KY.
