As a former interpreter, I am very comfortable using ASL to teach and tutor.
I have certification in teaching English as a Second Language.
I also have a bachelor's degree from UBC.
I have experience working with children, both as an Educational Assistant and as an ESL teacher. I have tutored children from Kindergarten up to grade 5 on various school subjects and would love to meet with your child and help them be prepared for the next school year.
I also have experience helping college students (both hearing and Deaf) in essay writing and studying for their exams. If you need help in this area, I can certainly help you.
I can come to your home to tutor/teach if you are in the Tricities area, or we can meet at the Coquitlam public library, or we can do online lessons if you prefer.
We can meet at the library for 15 minutes , free of charge, to get to know each other and decide on future sessions.
