Vintage 1973 Apache Mesa Pop-Up Trailer
The ease of towing a pop-up, but with hard sides rather than canvas! I just purchased this recently, but I am still too handicap to handle it by myself. I thought I could but I can't.
Dimensions: Closed Height (when sitting level) 52” ; Closed Length 13’8” ; Width 6’7” ; Open Length approximately 18’
Weight: Tongue Weight 195 lbs, Curb Weight 1560 lbs, Max Carrying Capacity 440 lbs
Tows great. It is a 4 prong plug (no trailer brakes, not needed) - we have a 7 prong to 4 prong adapter that comes with it. Water pump and 10 gallon tank work, stove works, battery works (we use this and a solar panel), transformer runs the water pump and outlets when plugged into 110v, but not the ceiling fan and light (we haven't checked the circuit breakers). The cushions and curtains have been replaced and always kept indoors when not in use (so no smells!) Side tables and dining table rebuilt with sturdy oak plywood. We updated the 70’s vinyl flooring and painted the interior about 15 years ago. Trailer has been stored outside, but always kept under a heavy duty tarp.
The pull out step needs a little bit of work.
This is an amazing shape! The sink works, the three burner stove works, the heater might need a little bit of work because it works sometimes.
The tires are decent. The battery is taken out and stored during the winter. This is a super fun tent trailer that is rather large when all opened up. It can sleep six people maximum.
