Responsibilities
You’ll support the Store Operations Manager with:
Daily store operations and customer service.
Opening and closing procedures.
Cash handling, stocking, and maintaining store displays.
Receiving deliveries, checking merchandise, and reporting damage or discrepancies.
Monitoring inventory, updating the POS system, and maintaining appropriate stock levels.
Stock rotation using First In, First Out (FIFO), particularly for refrigerated and perishable products.
Keeping the store, equipment, warehouse, and storage areas clean, organized, and safe.
Following store procedures and suggesting improvements.
Handling customer questions and concerns, escalating issues when necessary.
Other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Completion of secondary school.
Ability to speak, read, and write English clearly.
Basic computer and POS skills.
Familiarity with inventory control and FIFO procedures.
Strong customer service, communication, organization, and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently, collaborate with a team, and provide guidance to colleagues.
Ability to lift up to 50 lb (approximately 23 kg) and stand for extended periods.
Pay and schedule
Monthly pay: ¥220,000.
Primarily Monday–Friday, with a fixed schedule.
Typical hours: 10:30 a.m.–7:30 p.m., including a 1-hour unpaid lunch break.
Schedules may change in some months to accommodate staffing and operational needs. Occasional weekend work may be required.
Leave and transportation
10 days of PTO per year, with accrual beginning after completion of the 6-month probationary period.
The store has five designated days off each year. Available PTO must be used to receive pay for these days. Details will be explained during the hiring process.
Transportation allowance of up to ¥25,000 per month.
Location
Roppongi/Akasaka area, accessible from Tameike-sanno, Roppongi-itchome, Roppongi, and Akasaka stations.
