Truman VA will hold a drive-up take back event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23, in the medical center’s patient and visitor garage (near the elevators). Participants should drive into the garage using the upper northwest entrance (near the elevators). Volunteers will walk to the vehicle and collect medications at the driver’s window. The drive-up event provides participants an opportunity to safely remove expired, unused, and/or unwanted pharmaceuticals.
