DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Creates, maintains, and manages all original and copied patient files. Ensures their security.
• Performs periodic reviews of charts and content for completeness and accuracy.
• Reflect companies commitment to treating all persons with dignity and respect.
• Prepares charts for all internal and external audits.
• Maintains archive schedule and prepares archived files for storage; quarterly boxing up of files and organizing file room; Preparing files in boxes for off-site archiving.
• Maintains confidentiality of all client and employee information.
• Performs job in compliance with company policies and procedures as well as community standards and applicable HIPAA guidelines.
• Support multiple leaders in the office pool
• Complete clerical, filing functions and general administrative tasks

• able to lift at least 15-30 lbs.
• Availability M-F, 9 am-5 pm
• Performs additional duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary.
• High school diploma or equivalent credential; and/or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
SKILLS
• Ability to enter data, generate reports and create communications from a variety of software programs and databases including Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to fax, scan, and copy.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing
• Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
• Ability to interact effectively as a team member and independently with Company staff, stakeholders, and with diverse client base.
