Manufactured in London, England in July 1944, everything works. This was the first "multimeter" featuring a means to measure AC and DC voltage, AC and DC current and ohms.
It comes with its original wooden box and original leads.
The only maintenance it requires is to replace the battery. In the 60 years I've owned it, I've only had to do that twice.
