Optional Tow Vehicle set-up specifically for towing this trailer: A 2003 Chevrolet Silverado ext. cab 2WD 2500HD Duramax with Alison 1000 5pd transmision. the Mileage is 309K but the truck has been thoroughly gone through with lots of major components replaced. The injectors were done last year by Palmer Diesel and truck Repair, I just installed a new android head unit with Apple car play, Nav, etc. The extent of work recently done is due to it's history.. The original owner passed away a few years ago leaving his landlord to deal with the truck. He had the truck towed and made some kind of shady deal with the towing company to junk it so he could buy it back for nothing. Because of this the truck now had to have a full vehicle inspection and smog done before it could be registered and put back on the road and now it has a salvage title. The carfax report (included) reflects this and shows a perfect vehicle history with the same owner up until he passed away. Some of the work done since I acquired it; tires, both batteries, windshield, front grill, headlights/turn signals, tail lights, leaf spring shackles, front control arms with new bushings and ball joints, new steering box, new power brake booster, Fresh Rotella oil and filter change, new coolant, new differential fluid, and more that I probably can't remember. The clear is peeling off the roof and hood and there's a bunch of door dings in one spot on the driver door but overall the body and interior are in good condition. The truck and trailer are 100% ready to go anywhere right now.
Towing upgrades:
I did everything to set this truck up for heavy towing including; Installing new under-bed fifth wheel mounting brackets and and Draw-Tite 18K Signature Series hitch, SumoSpring (yellow HD) overload springs, brake controller, and extendable towing mirrors. I only towed it on two trips but it performed flawlessly.
