Rio is a 15 year old 15.1hh red dun roan gelding. He is a big thick boy. He's an extremely easy keeper. Sadly his tail was chewed off by foal. It’s growing back well! I got this guy earlier this year and he had been turned out for quite some time and he hadn’t had his feet done in a few years. Because his feet had been neglected they were extremely thin soled and he requires pads at the moment on his fronts. After I got his feet fixed up I went right to riding him. He’s fun and not much bothers him. I’ve ridden him on trails, through town to sonic, across the train tracks, and at the arena at a playday. He carries a flag no problem. He’s not a speed demon by any means and would prefer to walk and trot if you gave him a choice. I hate to see him go but have to cut back on horses. Current coggins.
