This is a complete, frame-up restoration and modernization of an iconic 1990s Specialized RockHopper. Built around a lightweight, classic triple-butted chromoly steel frame, this bike has been carefully converted from a flat-bar vintage mountain bike into a highly capable, stylish, drop-bar gravel cruiser and adventure machine.
Steel frames from this era offer an smooth ride on rough gravel roads and choppy pavement, while the modern cockpit layout provides comfortable hand positions for long days in the saddle.
