Trillium Staffing is currently hiring an experienced Heavy Material Handler / Heavy Forklift Operator for a local opportunity in the Merritt Island / Space Coast area.
✅ $25.00 per hour
✅ 40+ hours per week
✅ Typically 50–60 hours per week
✅ Overtime paid after 40 hours
✅ Local position – home daily
⚠️ NO PER DIEM
THIS IS NOT A STANDARD WAREHOUSE FORKLIFT POSITION.
We are specifically looking for candidates with VERIFIABLE experience operating 15,000+ lb capacity forklifts and performing heavy material handling.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Experience operating 15K+ heavy-capacity forklifts
• Heavy material handling experience
• Experience moving large, oversized, heavy, or unbalanced loads
• Comfortable working around high-value and sensitive material
• Must be comfortable performing material handler duties when not operating the forklift
• Industrial, aerospace, shipyard, manufacturing, steel, construction, heavy equipment, or similar experience is a PLUS
• Experience must be verifiable through previous employers
• Must be able to complete required background and onboarding requirements
IMPORTANT:
If your experience is only with a standard warehouse sit-down forklift, this position may not meet the experience requirements.
