âś… Work remains within the Space Coast/Kennedy Space Center pad areas
⚠️ No per diem—local candidates strongly preferred
CDL/DRIVING REQUIREMENTS:
• Valid CDL Class A
• Verifiable CDL Class A driving experience
• Flatbed experience is required
• Must be experienced with loading and securing freight
• Hazmat endorsement required, or must be willing and able to obtain it
• No OTR or long-distance routes
• Must be willing to perform material-handler duties when not driving
MATERIAL-HANDLING RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drivers will be responsible for loading and securing their own freight using:
• 5K forklifts
• 15K forklifts
• Telehandlers
• Other heavy material-handling equipment as needed
Freight may include:
• Large weldments
• 20-foot sticks of pipe
• Sheet metal
• Large assemblies and industrial parts
• Oversized, heavy, or unbalanced loads
IMPORTANT:
Experience operating a 35K-capacity forklift is preferred but is NOT required. The company can provide training because 35K moves will be infrequent.
Candidates should be comfortable handling large, high-value, and sensitive materials. Industrial, aerospace, shipyard, manufacturing, steel, construction, heavy-haul, or heavy-equipment experience is a plus.
