We are downsizing our donkey herd to reduce our feed bill. We would prefer these three go together but are willing to sell Chip separately. We aren’t in a rush, and this decision is no fault of theirs.
Chip – $2,000 OBO
Mammoth breeding jack, approximately 14.1 hands. A handsome boy with plenty of personality. Chip is intact and needs an owner experienced with breeding jacks.
Molly and Skeeter – $2,500 for the pair
Molly is a mammoth jenny standing approximately 14 hands. She was wary of people when she arrived, and we’ve been working on building her trust. She can be difficult to catch, but once caught, she leads well, loads in a trailer, and stands tied. She tolerates short periods of petting and needs continued work with handling and standing for the farrier.
Skeeter is her jack foal, born October 3, 2026, and sired by Chip. He will continue to be socialized and worked with while here.
Molly and Skeeter must stay together until he is weaned. Skeeter could go separately after weaning in spring 2027.
Asking $4,500 for all three, or the individual prices listed above.
